The GEM is nearly complete now, all that's left is
to raise the boom and attach the dipper. As you can see here, the
dipper was assembled next to the boom. Once the boom has been raised,
the machine will swing a little to the left, and use it's hoist
cables to raise the back of the dipper handle for attachment. |
