BE 1460W 60 Yd,
Erected at P&M's Paradise Mine, Drakesboro, Ky.
in 1964. This is the last of the first 4 1460's made. Shut down in
the late 70's and trucked to P&M's Pleasant Hill Mine, White
Plains, Ky.. This Mine was closed and sold to Charolois Coal Corp,
Madisonville, Ky. and repainted, and the mines name was changed to
Mark Energy. This mine has been sold several times, and this 1460 was
idled in Aug, 2000. |
