BE 1050B 36 Yd.
Erected in 1956 at PCC's Vogue Mine, Madisonville Ky. I operated this 1050B, it is the same as in photo 10 but has a different paint job.. Look close at the leveling jacks, we removed all four crawlers as soon as it was parked, It is sitting on wooden mats. The crawlers were taken to another PCc mine that had an older ( 1948 ) 1050B and placed on this machine.

 After the crawlers were removed, the boom was lowered and a few years later it was scrapped.


B-E 1650B 55Yd.

Erected in 1956, this was the first 1650B made, it was named "The River Queen ". It was bought for the River Queen Mine, Greenville Ky. The mine was jointly owned by the W.G. Duncan Coal Co. and Peabody Coal Co. and operated by PCC. This machine was later walked to PCC's Vogue Mine, when River Queen got their new
5960 Marion 125 Yd. .

I operated this machine while at Vogue Mine,This machine was dismantled and moved to PCC's Riverview Mine, McHenry, Ky. Later it was sold to Green Coal Co. Owensboro Ky, and floated by barge down Green River to Spotsville, Ky. and operated a few years. It was scrapped.
