David Hope's Mining Scenes   BE 270B 9 yd capacity. Erected in the fall of 1960 at Peabody's River Queen Mine. This was the first 270 made, it had a 100-ft. boom.   BE 270B 9 yd capacity. In 1963 it was walked to Vogue mine (Peabody), The boom was shortened by 20 feet ( 10 from top and 10 from bottom). In early 1970's it was walked back to River Queen Mine and later was dismantled and moved to Peabody's Lynnville Mine in Indiana   NEXT
