It's rare to see a parked drag with the cab glass unprotected. Generally when a machine such as this is going to be parked for a while, the Cab glass is covered with steel plate and the doors are welded shut. This seems to be the only way to protect the inside from vandals, and to keep the wiring from being stolen and sold for scrap.

( Consol has steel plate on the cab of the Silver Spade within a week of her being parked)
